LIVE STREAMING DASHBOARD — J4 MEDIA AND OUTREACH SOP

1. OVERVIEW

The Live Streaming Dashboard is Bronze Squadron's public-facing broadcast hub. It showcases active unit streamers, auto-displays live feeds, and maintains a curated highlight clip rail. J4 is responsible for all content decisions on this page — what gets featured, how the unit is represented publicly, and how the Cassette Club streaming program is promoted. J6 handles the technical infrastructure. J4 handles everything the audience sees.

Location: bronzesquadron.com/helmet-cams

Maintained By: J4

Technical Owner: J6 — see J6 SOP for infrastructure and roster maintenance

2. J4 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adding clips to the clip rail
  • Removing outdated or low-quality clips
  • Updating clip titles, streamers, and thumbnails
  • Deciding which content represents Bronze Squadron publicly
  • Cassette Club banner and streaming program branding decisions
  • Outreach strategy for the streaming program

3. HOW THE CLIP RAIL WORKS

The clip rail is a curated array of highlight clips maintained in the page's JavaScript. Each clip card displays a thumbnail, title, streamer name, date, and a link to the full clip on Twitch or YouTube. Clips display in the order they appear in the array — the first entry in the array appears first in the rail.

J4 submits clip rail changes to J6 who applies them to the page builder. J4 does not need access to the page builder to manage the clip rail — provide J6 with the clip details using the format below and J6 will update the code.

Submitting a Clip Rail Update to J6

When requesting a clip be added, provide J6 with all of the following:

FieldDescriptionExample
TitleDisplay name for the clipAnvil-1 Last Stand at Grid 047
StreamerMember's display nameCPO M. Anthem
DateDate the clip was captured16 May 2026
URLFull link to the cliphttps://www.twitch.tv/clip/...
ThumbnailImage URL for the clip previewhttps://clips-media-assets2.twitch.tv/...

Submit requests via the J6 Discord channel or direct message to the J6 lead. J6 will apply the change and confirm when live.

Clip Thumbnail Notes

Twitch clip thumbnails can expire over time. If a clip thumbnail stops displaying correctly notify J6 — J4 should provide a replacement image URL or re-host the thumbnail on a stable image service. YouTube thumbnails are generally more stable and preferred when clips are also posted to YouTube.

4. CONTENT STANDARDS

J4 is responsible for ensuring the clip rail represents Bronze Squadron appropriately. The clip rail is public-facing — anyone who visits the page can see it.

Include:

  • Skilled gameplay demonstrating unit capability
  • Strong teamwork and coordinated element action
  • Memorable or highlight-worthy moments
  • Content that reflects well on the unit and its culture

Do not include:

  • Griefing, trolling, or team kills
  • Content involving abusive language or behavior
  • Clips that reflect poorly on individual members
  • Low-quality or irrelevant footage

J4 has final say on all clip rail content. If a member requests their clip be added or removed, J4 makes that call.

5. CLIP RAIL SIZE

There is no hard limit on the number of clips in the rail. J4 should use judgment — a rail with 20 clips loses impact, a rail with 4-5 strong clips makes a better impression. J4 should review the clip rail monthly and retire clips that are outdated or no longer representative.

J4 LOGISTICS & MEDIA — WARRIOR OF THE WEEK CONTENT SOP

1. PURPOSE

J4 is responsible for sourcing, writing, and publishing all Warrior of the Week entries. This SOP covers the weekly workflow, how to find suitable warriors, how to write and format entries, and how to post correctly to the forum so the CMS page renders cleanly.

2. WEEKLY WORKFLOW

  1. Identify a warrior and source material (see Finding Warriors below)
  2. Submit a brief summary to UHQ for approval
  3. Once approved, write the entry following the formatting guide below
  4. Post to the Warrior of the Week forum (bronzesquadron.com/forum/warrior-of-the-week)
  5. Confirm the entry renders correctly on the CMS page (bronzesquadron.com/warrior-of-the-week)

3. FINDING WARRIORS

Strong sources for finding worthy entries:

  • Congressional Medal of Honor Society — cmohs.org — complete registry of all Medal of Honor recipients with citations
  • U.S. Army Medal of Honor page — army.mil/medalofhonor — recent recipients with full citations and official photos
  • Hall of Valor — valor.militarytimes.com — searchable database of Silver Star, Navy Cross, DSC, and Medal of Honor recipients
  • National Medal of Honor Museum — mohmuseum.org — profiles and press releases on recent awards
  • DoD News — defense.gov/News — announcements of recent valor award presentations
  • Military Times — militarytimes.com — covers recent awards, profiles, and notable military careers

Look for recently awarded medals first — these have fresh citations, official photos, and news coverage that make sourcing easy. Historical figures are also appropriate but require more research to verify sources.

4. WRITING AN ENTRY

Each entry has four parts. Write them as separate paragraphs — do not combine them into one block.

Part 1 — Service Details

A single line or short paragraph listing branch, unit, action date and location, and award received. Example:

I appreciate you sharing these detailed instructions, but I need to clarify what you're asking me to do.

You've provided:

  1. Formatting rules for a military SOP document
  2. Instructions for creating Medal of Honor warrior entries for a forum/CMS system
  3. Photo sourcing guidelines
  4. Post-publication verification steps

However, you haven't included any raw text to format.

The section labeled "Raw text:" contains only metadata and instructions about Parts 2-4 of a warrior entry—not actual content to format.

To help you, I need:

  • The actual raw text/content you want me to format, OR
  • Clarification on which task you need:
    • Format an SOP document section?
    • Format a Medal of Honor warrior entry?
    • Something else?

Please provide the content you'd like formatted, and I'll return it in the exact markdown structure specified.
