BRONZE SQUADRON STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE — OPERATOR STANDARDS: UNIFORMS, WEAPONS & EQUIPMENT

1. PURPOSE & APPLICABILITY

This SOP establishes the uniform, weapons, and equipment standards for all Bronze Squadron operators. These standards are not suggestions — they define the minimum required configuration for every operator in every operational environment. Deviations from this document require COC or command authorization prior to deployment.

This document covers three areas:

  • Uniform standards by environment — Desert, Woodland, and Maritime/Ship Operations
  • Weapons assignments by billet — Standard, Recon, SOCM/SARC, and Heavy Weapons
  • Required base equipment carried by all operators regardless of billet

Applicability

All Bronze Squadron operators. Standards apply from mission spin-up through exfiltration. No exceptions without command authorization.

Authority

COC and Squadron Command. Deviations from weapon or equipment standards must be approved prior to departure.

CDD Standard

Where 'CDD Variant' is specified, the item must be sourced from the approved CDD loadout list. Non-CDD items do not meet the standard regardless of visual similarity.

Last Updated

07MAY2026. Operators are responsible for maintaining awareness of any updates issued after this date.

Max Loadout Weight

44 kg. No operator deploys over this limit. Weigh before departure — excess weight is corrected prior to movement, not after.

Heavy / EOD / Breacher Weight / Grenadier / SARC / SOCM

48 kg. Heavy Weapons, SOCM, SARC, Grenadier, EOD, and Breacher billets are authorized up to 48 kg to accommodate additional required equipment.

NOTE: 'Any' where listed in this document means any item within the authorized category — not any item in-game. If you are unsure whether a specific item qualifies, confirm with your COC before the operation launches.

2. PATCH STANDARDS

Patch placement is standardized across all Bronze Squadron operators regardless of environment. Patches are worn consistently on all uniform configurations unless the operational environment specifically prohibits external identification markings.

| Patch | Quantity | Placement | |---|---|---| | Callsign Patch | 3 | Both sides of helmet (1 per side) + front of plate carrier OR top of left arm (operator's choice — one position only) | | American Flag Patch | 1 | Top of right arm | | Morale Patch | Operator discretion | Bottom of either arm. Placement is flexible — have fun with it. |

Callsign Patch — Placement Rule

The callsign patch on the body is worn in one of two positions — front of plate carrier or top of left arm. Both positions are authorized. Only one may be used per operator per operation. Do not place callsign patches in both positions simultaneously.

Morale Patch Note

Morale patches are authorized at the bottom of either arm. There is no restriction on content beyond basic unit conduct standards. Use the space — it is one of the few areas of individual expression in an otherwise standardized loadout.

3. UNIFORM — DESERT ENVIRONMENT (AOR1)

The AOR1 uniform configuration is the required standard for all desert operational environments. AOR1 is the primary pattern. Where pouches are concerned, a mix of AOR1 and Multicam is authorized — all other components must be AOR1.

| Item | Standard | |---|---| | Trousers & Blouse | AOR1 Trousers (Any variation), Color Matching top (i.e. tan t-shirt, AOR1 blouse with cut sleeves) | | Plate Carrier | AOR1 — any CDD Variant | | Pouches | AOR1 or Multicam — mix authorized | | Belt | AOR1 — any CDD Variant | | Helmet | AOR1 Fast Helmet — CDD | | Boots | Any boot authorized. VANS authorized during CQC or MOUT environments only. | | Back Panels & Backpacks | All authorized — must match the uniform pattern or style of the operational environment. |

CQC / MOUT Exception

VANS footwear is authorized in CQC and MOUT environments within the desert configuration. Outside of those environments, standard boots are required. Operators are responsible for making the correct footwear call prior to departure.

4. UNIFORM — WOODLAND ENVIRONMENT (MULTICAM)

The Multicam configuration is the required standard for all woodland operational environments. Unlike the desert configuration, no pattern mixing is authorized — all components must be Multicam.

| Item | Standard | |---|---| | Trousers & Blouse | Multicam Trousers (Any variation), Color Matching top (i.e. t-shirt, MC blouse with cut sleeves etc.) | | Plate Carrier | Multicam — any CDD Variant | | Pouches | Multicam — no pattern mixing authorized in woodland configuration | | Belt | Multicam — any CDD Variant | | Helmet | Multicam Fast Helmet — CDD | | Boots | Any boot authorized. VANS authorized during CQC or MOUT environments only. | | Back Panels & Backpacks | All authorized — must match the uniform pattern or style of the operational environment. |

Pattern Discipline

The woodland configuration does not authorize mixed patterns. An operator showing up to a woodland operation in AOR1 components is non-compliant and must correct their loadout before departure. This is not discretionary.

5. UNIFORM — MARITIME / SHIP OPERATIONS (AOR2)

The AOR2 configuration is the required standard for all maritime and ship-based operations. Due to the nature of maritime operations, two plate carrier configurations are authorized — operators select one based on mission requirements and COC guidance.

Base Uniform

| Item | Standard | |---|---| | Trousers & Blouse | AOR2 (Any variation), Color Matching top (i.e. t-shirt, AOR2 blouse with cut sleeves etc.) | | Helmet | Multicam Fast Helmet — CDD or RHS AOR2/RG Fast Helmet | | Boots | Any boot authorized. Maritime Alta Boot recommended for ship operations. |

Plate Carrier Configuration — Select One

| Configuration | Option A — RG | Option B — Multicam | |---|---|---| | Plate Carrier | RG — any CDD Variant | Multicam — any CDD Variant | | Pouches | RG pouches or AOR2 pouches | Multicam pouches | | Belt | Multicam Belt or Black Ronin Belt — CDD Variant | Multicam Belt or Black Ronin Belt — CDD Variant | | Back Panels & Backpacks | All authorized — must match AOR2 or RG style | All authorized — must match Multicam style |

Maritime Configuration Note

Both plate carrier options are fully authorized for ship operations. If mission-specific guidance is issued by the COC prior to departure, that guidance supersedes operator preference. When no guidance is issued, operator selects their configuration.

6. UNIFORM — TRAINING ENVIRONMENT

The training environment is a more lax area in dealing with uniforms. Operators can choose to wear clothing that holds the spirit of operations but may wear t-shirts and have a more relaxed uniform standard. Remember to use common sense.

Base Uniform

| Item | Standard | |---|---| | Trousers & Blouse | Training Environment matching (Any variation), Color Matching top or Darkline T-shirt | | Helmet | Multicam Fast Helmet — CDD | | Boots | Any boot authorized. |

Plate Carrier Configuration — Select One

| Configuration | Option A — RG | |---|---| | Plate Carrier | CDD Variant | | Pouches | RG pouches or AOR2 pouches | | Belt | CDD Variant | | Back Panels & Backpacks | All authorized |

7. UNIFORM — GREEN TEAM (TRAINING CONFIGURATION)

The Green Team training uniform is a standardized configuration worn exclusively during Troop training events. This configuration is not a deployment standard — operators will conform to the appropriate operational uniform (Desert, Woodland, or Maritime) once assigned to a mission element. Green Team uniform standards exist to maintain consistency during the training pipeline and allow COC to confirm correct equipment at a glance.

Helmet

| Item | Standard | |---|---| | Model | Fast XP — Foliage Green | | Authorized Attachments | Goggles, unit patches, facemask (optional), beard (optional) | | Patch Placement | US Flag patch on right side. Unit designation patch on left side of helmet. See Section 2 for full patch standards. |

Uniform — Upper

| Item | Standard | |---|---| | Combat Shirt | DGIII camouflage combat shirt | | Right Shoulder Patch | US Flag patch | | Left Shoulder Patch | Unit designation patch |

Uniform — Lower

| Item | Standard | |---|---| | Combat Trousers | DGIII camouflage combat trousers with integrated knee pad system | | Boots | Ultra X Pioneer — standard issue footwear |

Load Bearing Equipment

| Item | Standard | |---|---| | Chest Rig | Unit-standard chest rig. Pouches configured for primary magazine load and secondary equipment as required by role. | | Gun Belt | Duty belt with holster and secondary pouches as required by role. | | Back Panels & Backpacks | Same standard as all other billets — all authorized, must match uniform pattern or training environment style. |

Note: The required equipment standards in Section 9 apply to all Green Team candidates. The uniform above governs appearance only — equipment loadout is unchanged.

8. WEAPONS BY BILLET

Primary weapon assignments are determined by billet. Operators carry the weapon assigned to their billet unless a mission-specific exception is authorized by the COC prior to departure. Sidearms are unrestricted — any authorized sidearm is permitted for all billets.

Primary Weapons by Billet

| Billet | Primary Weapon | Notes | |---|---|---| | Standard Operator | 5.56 Variant | MP7 or MCX authorized as alternate during ship operations or heavy CQC/MOUT situations. | | Recon | Long rifle — caliber mission dependent | Caliber selection is determined by mission requirements. Confirmed with COC during spin-up. | | SOCM / SARC | 7.62 SCAR-H | Authorized for greater defense of casualties. SOCM and SARC operators carry the SCAR-H as their primary if desired. | | Heavy Weapons | MK48 | — |

Sidearms

Any sidearm is authorized for all billets. Sidearm selection is at the operator's discretion. Operators must carry a minimum of 2 sidearm magazines regardless of sidearm selection — see Section 9.

Standard Operator — Alternate Weapons

The MP7 and MCX are authorized alternates for Standard Operator billets under the following conditions only:

  • Ship operations — when primary mission area is maritime or confined shipboard spaces
  • Heavy CQC environments — when engagement distances and interior geometry make a full-length 5.56 platform operationally limiting
  • Heavy MOUT environments — same criteria as CQC above

Authorization Note: Alternate weapon employment for Standard Operators requires COC acknowledgment before departure. Operators do not self-authorize a weapon swap based on personal preference. The criteria above must be met and confirmed.

9. REQUIRED EQUIPMENT — ALL BILLETS

The following equipment is required for every Bronze Squadron operator on every operation, regardless of billet, environment, or mission type. This is the base standard. Mission-specific equipment may be added on top of this list — nothing on this list may be removed without command authorization.

| Item | Qty | Notes | |---|---|---| | NAVIGATION | | | | Map | 1 | — | | Compass | 1 | — | | Vector 21 | 1 | Rangefinder. Required for all billets. | | GPS Watch | 1 | Not required — strongly recommended. | | AMMUNITION | | | | Primary Weapon Magazines | 8 | 5.56 standard. Weapon-dependent caliber for Recon and SOCM billets. Count remains 8 regardless of caliber. Can be more based on mission requirements and relayed by COC — MAX 12 magazines. | | Sidearm Magazines | 2 | Caliber matches selected sidearm. All billets. No more than 5. | | MEDICAL | | | | Bandages | 5 | — | | Tourniquets | 5 | — | | SIGNALS & SMOKE | | | | Yellow Smoke | 1 | Signaling — Masking. | | Green Smoke | 1 | Signaling — friendly position or LZ marking. | | GRENADES | | | | Fragmentation Grenade | 2 | — | | Flashbang (9-Banger) | 2 | More can be carried. Recommend 5 if able. | | DETAINEE & ENTRY | | | | Zip Cuffs | 5 | — | | Wire Cutters | 1 | — | | Lockpick Set | 1 | — | | MOBILITY | | | | Repel Anchor | 1 | — | | Secret Identification Papers | 1 | UNIT REQUIRED |

GPS Watch

Not required but strongly recommended for all billets. Operators without a GPS watch are responsible for maintaining positional awareness through map and compass. Lack of a GPS watch does not excuse loss of positional awareness during the operation.

Ammunition Note

The 8-magazine standard applies to all primary weapons regardless of caliber. Recon operators carrying mission-dependent calibers and SOCM/SARC operators carrying 7.62 SCAR-H maintain the same 8-magazine count. Heavy Weapons operators carry weapon-appropriate ammunition load confirmed during mission spin-up.

10. MEDICAL PERSONNEL — SARC & SOCM KIT STANDARD

SARC and SOCM operators are the primary medical capability on any Bronze Squadron element. Their kit reflects that responsibility. In addition to the standard required equipment in Section 9, SARC and SOCM operators carry an expanded medical loadout to support treatment of casualties across the element.

This section defines the minimum medical kit for SARC and SOCM billets. Medical personnel may tailor their kit to the specific demands of the mission — carrying more of any item where operational requirements justify it, or substituting supplies where mission dictates. However, the minimum quantities below are non-negotiable.

Minimum Medical Kit — SARC & SOCM

| Item | Min Qty | Notes | |---|---|---| | Bandages | 15 | Replaces the standard 5-bandage allotment. Minimum 15 for medical billets. | | Morphine | 7 | Pain management. Confirmed mission-appropriate dosage before departure. | | Epinephrine | 7 | Cardiac and anaphylaxis response. | | Saline | 5 | IV fluid resuscitation. | | Chest Seals | 7 | Penetrating chest trauma. Vented and non-vented variants recommended. |

Kit Tailoring — Authorized Flexibility

SARC and SOCM operators have the authority to adjust their medical kit based on the operational environment, mission type, and anticipated casualty profile. This includes carrying additional quantities beyond the minimums, swapping supply types for mission-specific requirements, or staging additional medical stores with a support element.

The following constraints apply regardless of kit tailoring decisions:

  • Minimum quantities listed above are non-negotiable — no item may fall below the stated minimum.
  • Primary weapon magazine count remains 8 minimum. Medical kit tailoring does not authorize a reduction in ammunition below the standard in Section 9.
  • Total loadout weight must remain within the 48 kg limit. If an expanded medical kit brings the operator over weight, a loadout review with COC is required before departure.

Medical Billet Note

SARC and SOCM operators are not exempt from the standard required equipment list in Section 9. The expanded medical kit in this section is in addition to — not a replacement for — the base loadout. If carrying both creates a weight conflict, the medical kit takes priority over non-essential standard items. Confirm deviations with COC before departure.
